I suppose that words should not be required when the pictures tell the story but it does depend on the matrix of understanding that each viewer brings to the subject. We are products of personal experience and those moments that shape our beliefs and understanding are as unique as fingerprints. I saw what “I” saw when I shot these photographs, I see what “I” see when I look at them now, not necessarily the same thing, indeed I could say that I see something different every time I look.
